Here’s the deal. I’ve had this blog for some time now. I’ve played with colors and fonts, put some pictures up, and found all my necessary ‘social buttons’. I’ve added gadgets and taken them away. I could probably play around with these things for another couple months…just to avoid writing this dreaded first post!
So here it goes, a quick introduction to the world of French Press Knits. I started knitting years ago, but made nothing more than garter row scarves for quite a while. About four years ago (when I became an aunt), it was time to learn to read a pattern. In April, I opened my knitting shop on Etsy. You can find it here. This little shop has been satisfying my need to create and design. I have always loved to make things with my hands, and see a project through from start to finish. Now it is time to share these joys with the blogosphere!
Although knitting is a big focus in my life right now, and a large portion of this blog will be dedicated to it…expect to see some other surprises along the way.
And there you have it, a quick preface to French Press Knits, the blog. Come back tomorrow when I kick things off with a free pattern!
